We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Service Owner for the area Public Cloud to join our team at Atea Managed Services. Within Atea Managed Services (AMS), we are experts in IT operations. Regardless of whether our customers want to outsource parts or the entire IT operation, we are our customers preferred operating partner. We help free up resources and increase the overall efficiency of their IT organizations. We do this by delivering cost-effective operational services with the highest quality regardless of the customers platform requirements. This can mean in the customers own data center, in public cloud platforms or in our own Atea Cloud. Atea Managed Services is available in five countries and more than 1,200 employees work within the business area. We have operating personnel on duty around the clock. 

Atea Managed Services has started a globalization journey, where we aim to become more for our customers through one common organization. The next years will encompass transformation and adaptation towards a common delivery between 5 countries through technical changes as well as unification of how we work. 

About the position

As a Service Owner, you will be responsible for the ownership and accountability of one or multiple services within our service portfolio. You will work closely with business stakeholders to identify and meet both current and strategic requirements, ensuring our services align with Atea's overall strategy and competitive edge.

Key responsibilities

  • Service ownership including design, planning, cost model, and documentation.
  • Align with business stakeholders to identify capability requirements from business perspectives.
  • Regular evaluation of services, collaborating with appropriate functions and users to identify gaps and plan changes.
  • Development of service roadmaps aligned with Atea's strategic goals.
  • Oversee and support the implementation of planned changes and improvements to services.
  • Ensure services comply with CISO & DPO requirements.
  • Manage partner relationships and identify competency gaps within AMS related to services.

Tasks

  • Execute planned evaluation of service health.
  • Gather and document technology requirements based on strategy and business needs.
  • Maintain and monitor service baseline/current setup.
  • Identify gaps and plan mitigation strategies.
  • Investigate technology options and trends to improve services.
  • Conduct proof of concept (POC) on new services.
  • Define automation and self-service flow options within services.
  • Support procurement in choosing solutions.
  • Assist project management in planning and executing technology changes.
  • Support the PMO in project prioritization.
  • Provide solution design support in sales and onboarding (on demand).

  • Serve as a strategic business partner in the development and continuous improvement of managed services that enable the organization's goals and strategies.
  • Lead service development planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation and prioritizing development and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure the delivery of quality, cost-effective services to our customers.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-effective investment in IT systems and resources.
  • Assess and recommend improvements or re-engineering of the services in your portfolio.
  • Stay up to date with IT industry trends and issues, advising executives and management on their competitive or financial impact.

 To succeed as Service Owner Cloud

We are looking for a Service Owner with significant experience within public cloud. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a cloud architect and have experience with operation and management of large, multi-customer environments. A strong understanding of the business side of services and customer value in service delivery is essential. To be eligible for the job, you must be a citizen in one of the 5 countries which Atea operates within – Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark or Latvia.
